Your Water Account
Rous Water reads your water meter and issues your water account every three (3) months.
Your water account advises the property location, your water meter number, the previous and current readings, the period the reading covers and the total number of kilolitres consumed during that period.
If you would like to change the postal address for the service of your water account please complete the bottom section on the back of your water account and return it to our office or send an email to water@rouswater.nsw.gov.au or a fax to 02 6622 1181.
If you are sending us an email or fax please ensure you advise your account number, account name and both the old and new postal addresses.

Reading your Meter
A water meter measures the volume of water you use. Every house has its own water meter, usually located in line with the front boundary of the property, often just inside the fence.
