About Demand Management
Since February 1996, Rous Water has been implementing a range of education programs and financial incentives that aim to raise community awareness about using water more efficiently and reduce the demand for potable (drinking quality) water in the region.

Water Restrictions
At present, no water restrictions apply in all areas supplied by Rous Water. Check with your local Council for restrictions in areas not supplied by Rous Water such as Wardell, Mullumbimby, Nimbin and Casino.
